Welcome to the Ladies Rugby
section of the Derby RFC website. The Ladies section has successfully been
established over the last 12 months and are pleased to be entering into a league
for the 2008/09 season. We are still a developing team with lots to learn by
both novice and experienced players!!! So if you want to try something different
or maybe get back involved, get fit, make friends and most of all have a bit of
fun then come down and get involved either on or of the pitch.
We train every Monday Night and every other Friday 7pm to 9pm at the club.
Experienced and Non experienced are welcome, all you need is a want to learn or
progress and a smile on your face!!!
Also we have a developing U15 & U18's side that we will be putting a lot of
energy into establishing during this 2008/09 season. The Junior section started
alongside the Ladies section and are seen as a vital element to the future of
female rugby within the club. So we're Recruiting now !!!!
So whether you've picked a rugby ball up before or not there is space in many
capacities for you to become a Senior or Junior Viper! !!! Soooo Try it once and
then decide if it's for you??? but my guess is if you're still reading this then
the rugby bug has begun to bite you so come on down we'd love to meet you.
